C&N Home Inspections LLC was started in 1997 by Craig and Nancy Hallett of Shakopee MN. Their company provides residential, and small commercial building inspections. Several environmental inspections are also offered as additional service to better protect their clients health and living environment. They cover the local Nine County Metro Area, and offer out-state inspections as well. 

Craig’s background includes 15 years in the general and sub-contracting business. His company built single as well as multi-family residential and small commercial buildings. Being a general contractor you are responsible to build residential and commercial structures to meet local building codes. This of course means that Craig not only had to have a good  structural background, but a mechanical background as well.                                                                                                                           

A bad back forced Craig out of the contracting business in 1989. The home inspection business seemed like a perfect replacement. He could use his structural and mechanical building background to perform home inspections. Craig worked for another inspection co. for 8 years before starting C&N Home Inspections LLC.                                         

 Craig has been a member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors ) for 15 years. He has performed over 4500 inspections to their standards of practice and code of ethics. Nancy is involved with scheduling as well as the company bookwork.
